The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a partnership between parents and teachers whose goal is to enhance students’ educational experience and boost their sense of well-being and community within the school. It is also an opportunity for parents to be more informed and involved in their child's education.


​Below is a list of just some of the things the PTA of P.S. 130Q has done in the past:

  • Picture Day

  • School Apparel

  • School celebrations such as Monster Mash, Lunar New Year Party, Snowflake Ball, School Spirit Day, Carnival, Talent Show

  • Square 1 Art

  • Studio in a School

  • Special assemblies featuring authors and performers

  • Extra funding for things such as GMRT assessments and the Guggenheim Program

  • Fitness Nights

  • Movie Nights

  • Fundraising for our school through events at Pizzeria Uno, Applebee's and Pesso's

  • School sales such as: Valentine's Day Sale, Holiday Boutique

  • Special Discount Tickets to events such as the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and Elf the Musical

Please volunteer with the PTA today, we can always use more hands on deck!
